Rooted in the tradition of Machilipatnam block printing from Andhra Pradesh, this piece is printed by hand using carved teakwood blocks and natural dyes such as indigo and turmeric. Each impression is placed with intention, allowing the pattern to unfold through movement and repetition.
Printed on a handwoven cotton base, the shirt reflects a dialogue between craft, place, and time.
Finished with a relaxed fit, short sleeves, and a spread collar with a concealed top button, it is considered as a summer essential; easy, precise and enduring.
